Tiffany Shrom

A Visual Journey

Tiffany Shrom has been actively dancing since she was three years old. She attended Debbie’s School of Dance Inc. where she is now an Assistant Artistic Director, competition coach, and instructor. She teaches private lessons, choreographs for her competition team, and substitutes at several Lancaster area dance studios. 

Tiffany graduated summa cum laude in May of 2020 from Slippery Rock University with a dance degree in the Bachelors of Fine Arts program. While at the University, she studied and gained experience in dance technology, film, research, performance, and choreography as well as received her certification in Yoga. Tiffany was named the Outstanding BFA Dance Major of 2020 by the SRU dance department.

Over the years, Tiffany has performed or appeared in, Movies by Movers through the American Dance Festival, Koresh Dance Company Showcase Series located in Philadelphia, Prima Theater in Lancaster, FORGE Dance Intensive, and Gus Giordano in Chicago.

Upon graduation, she has been a performing company member of the West Virginia Dance Company, Emme Dance Collective, and LUNA! She has presented choreography in the Artistic Edge Dance Company Merging Artists Showcase, Labyrinth Dance Company Virtual Showcase, the Trust Dance Festival, and Fluorescence (Emme Dance Collective company show).

This upcoming 24-25 season she will be teaching numerous classes at her home studio, Debbie’s School of Dance, and creating extensive choreography for their competition team. Tiffany also serves as a competition judge from time to time for StarQuest and Elite Dance Challenge. For the past five years she has also served as a choreographer for Solanco High School’s musicals including Footloose, Pirates of Penzance, Seussical, The Secret Garden, and Guys and Dolls.

Her future endeavors include working towards her master’s degree in the art and practice of teaching dance starting this August through Wayne State University.
